This is our “go-to” roast, especially when we are at sea. We have a deep love of the seas, and crave to raise our sails. Once we raise the sails and douse the engine, and all you hear is the hull slicing through the water – peace and calmness showers us. That’s our ahhhhh moment. We kick up feet, Sailor’s Brew in hand and savor the moment, flavors and aromas.
The beans are of a single origin, from the high altitude region of Huehuetenango of western Guatemala. The farm began in 1960 and is owned and operated by the husband and wife team, Dõna and Mario Sosa.
Medium roasted, brings out beautiful floral aromas, and flavors citrus peel, baked cherries and milk chocolate. Silky and beautiful tasting!
