The Brunca region is the southern most, coffee growing region of Costa Rica. The region has a wide range of microclimates with altitudes ranging between 1,400 and 1,700 meters above sea level and an average temperature of 72°. These beans come from some of the highest elevation in the region! Harvest time is between December and February.
We do a medium-light roast to this bean, which allows for a well-balanced cup of coffee. Medium in body with notes of melon, orange and a bit of chocolate on the finish.
